Tian Ma Wan promotes overall circulation, eliminates discomfort, maintains the healthy function of bones and joints.

Functions:
Nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin, Anchors the Yang, Dispels Wind-Damp, Tonifies Blood, Invigorates the Blood, Extinguishes Wind.

Indications:
Liver and Kidney Yin and Blood deficiency with Liver Yang rising presenting with stiff neck and upper back, pounding headaches, visual disturbances, dizziness, vertigo, mild tremors, numbness and/or paralysis of the head, hands and feet, insomnia, irritability, agitation, fatigue, facial and neck flushing, a sensation of heat rushing to the head. Also for concurrent wind damp bi-syndrome with aching, heaviness, numbness, stiffness, spasm and pain in various locations throughout the body, which may be exacerbated in cold and damp weather or during changes in the weather. Tongue: red if Yin deficiency dominates, pink if Blood and Yin deficiency are equal Pulse: wiry, rapid, thin, weak.

Biomedical Applications:
vascular headaches, tension headache, migraine headache, trigeminal neuralgia, rheumatic pain, arthritis, essential hypertension, pre-eclampsia, post-stroke paralysis, hemiplegia, Bell's Palsy, mild epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, muscle spasms, focal disorders of the central nervous system.

Standard Dosage:
8 pills, 3 x day.

Clinical Dosage:
Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used over the course of several years.

Ingredients:
Rehmannia glutinosa root-prep, Angelica sinensis root, Notopterygium incisium root, Eucommia ulmoides bark, Gastrodia elata rhizome, Scrophularia ningpoensis root, Achyranthes bidentata root, Dioscorea hypoglauca rhizome, Angelica pubescens root, Cyperus rotundus rhizome. - Shu di huang, Dang gui, Qiang huo, Du zhong, Tian ma, Xuan shen, Huai niu xi, Bi xie, Du huo, Xiang fu.

Cautions & Contraindications:
Contraindicated during pregnancy. Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Use with caution in patients with pronounced Yin or Blood deficiency.
